Study Group/Research

Machiken offers a variety of activities so that more people can come learn about health issues in the area.

Machiken Study Group

A study group is periodically held on weeknights or weekends, and covers a wide range of topics related to health and well-being. This is a place where you can enjoy learning about specialized topics in a way that is easy to understand.

(Example topics) "What is 'mindfulness'?"; "What is the connection between bath houses and health?"

About our research

About Machiken Project research

At Machiken, we conduct research to analyze how our activities can improve the well-being of local residents. Therefore, we may ask those who participate in Machiken activities to do interviews and/or questionnaires. Of course, participants are free to choose if they want to help with our research, so those who want to participate in activities but do not want to help with our research are still very welcome. We are very mindful of your privacy and will explain more about our research when we ask for volunteers. We appreciate your understanding.
